Mount Sunapee is a ski resort in New Hampshire located just a few miles east of the Mt. Kearsarge State Forest Park. The Mount Sunapee Ski Area is located about an hour from Manchester and can be accessed with relative ease from cities such as Boston, Portland, and Burlington. Ten lifts service an impressive 65 runs over 232 acres of magnificent terrain. For beginners, 26 percent of the runs are suitable, 49 percent for intermediates, and a nice 25 percent for advanced skiers and boarders. You will also enjoy an amazing terrain park with all kinds of jumps, rails, and pipes. Those interested in Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and tubing will also find a good time at Mount Sunapee.
There are seven places to get food and drinks at Mount Sunapee. Most offer comfort food designed to appeal to just about everyone. You can enjoy a fine dining experience at the Hearthstone Room or maybe you would rather just catch Chicago-style hot dog at the Summit Lodge. After a long day or evening of hitting the slopes it may also be perfectly in order to grab a couple of drinks at the onsite pub. There are also deals at the Back Side Inn, a pretty farmhouse turned inn on the backside of Mount Sunapee. The Best Western Sunapee Lake Lodge, Blue Goose Inn, and Candlelite Inn are several more options where you may be able to realize nice savings by booking your accommodations through the resort.
