Atlantic City Boardwalk Hotels

The Atlantic City Boardwalk hotels dot this strip of shore and provide places to stay overnight at this seaside resort. As this area continues to redefine itself, many of the local hotels have renovated their facilities, and several newcomers have helped to transform the lodging scene in recent years. All this action has stirred up a lot of competition, which often means good deals for visitors who are searching for lodging right in the heart of it all.

A number of Atlantic City Boardwalk hotels are casino resorts that aim to provide a Las Vegas experience on the New Jersey coast. Examples in this category include the Tropicana Casino & Resort, Trump Plaza Hotel & Casino (pictured), and Bally’s Atlantic City Hotel & Casino. Entertainment options abound at these and the other Atlantic City casino hotels, and when guests aren’t gaming or enjoying any other number of activities, they can relax in comfortable, well-equipped rooms.
Another example of a good casino resort on the Atlantic City Boardwalk is the Caesar’s Atlantic City. As is true of the other casino resorts, Caesar’s is known to host concerts and other kinds of shows, so it’s not all about the gaming action. It also features a spa where guests can pamper themselves for hours on end, and Caesar’s is where you will find the The Pier Shops shopping complex.
Fans of boutique hotels might opt to pass on the Atlantic City casino resorts and opt instead to stay at the Chelsea. A splendid boutique hotel, the Chelsea occupies a privileged plot right on the boardwalk. Among the facilities that guests can take advantage of are a rooftop pool, signature restaurants, and a well-equipped fitness center. When some beach time is in order, it’s not a long walk to the sand, and should the budget allow, renting one of the Chelsea’s private beach cabanas is an option.
There are plenty of chain brand Atlantic City Boardwalk motels that aren’t casino resorts, too, and these almost always have good rates. Among the best bet for Atlantic City motels are the Days Inn Atlantic City Beachfront, the Quality Inn Flamingo, and the Econolodge Beach Block. All three are found near the Chelsea and the Tropicana Resort, and also close by is the Ascot Motel should you wish to expand your low-cost lodging horizons.
Atlantic City lodging isn’t limited to casino resorts, hotels, and motels. Vacation rentals are also in pretty good supply. A condo that is on or near the boardwalk and the beaches can be similar in price to a hotel room, and condo guests are likely to enjoy much more space than an average hotel room can offer. It’s also nice to have a private kitchen, especially if there are little ones in the group. Restaurant trips aren’t always easy to manage when younger children are involved. Some of the most enticing rentals are found at condo resorts, such as the Wyndham Skyline Tower and the Flagship Resort.
