Atlantic City Convention Center

Located on 31 acres along Miss America Way in Atlantic City, New Jersey, the Atlantic City Convention Center is the first place to investigate events in Atlantic City. With 500,000 sq. ft. of floor space, 45 meeting rooms, five exhibit halls, and indoor parking for 1,400 vehicles, this Atlantic City special events venue is the best place in town to take in special exhibitions.

Since the Atlantic City Convention Center opened in May of 1997, it has become a mecca for events in Atlantic City. In 1999, the Atlantic City Convention Center was nominated for the EACA Intrepid Award, and award given to an organization displaying a superior ability for delivering excellent customer service beyond the client expectations.

The center itself hosts conventions, conferences, trade shows, and premier events open to the public. At a cost of $268 million, the Atlantic City Convention Center is the largest and most expensive public project in Atlantic City’s history, and was intended to be the centerpiece of the multi-billion dollar Atlantic City rejuvenation plan that included the Atlantic City outlet mall “The Walk” as well as the Boardwalk Hall renovation, and many new casino expansions.

Atlantic City special events are now even more special when you see a show at the Atlantic City Convention Center as guests are welcomed by a 90-foot atrium lobby, sculptures and regional artwork. Visitors to this Atlantic City special events venue will be delighted with the center’s five flying fish sculptures suspended above the atrium floor, as well as the 27 cast stone sculptures inset into the walls. On the fourth floor of the Atlantic City Convention Center you can also find more artistic exhibits reflecting the local culture and flavor.

Visit the Atlantic City Convention Center web site and find a detailed list of upcoming events in Atlantic City, including classic car shows, trade shows and conferences, as well as special exhibitions for gourmet food, antiques, motorcycles, and more. The site also partners with the Boardwalk Hall Atlantic City and lists concerts and events in Atlantic City such as shows by popular musical artists, prizefights, theatrical shows and much more.

Accessible via plane, train or car, the Atlantic City Convention Center is less than 20 minutes away from the International Airport via car, and the train station sits adjacent to the Atlantic City Convention Center itself. If you’re interested in renting space for an upcoming trade show or conference, contact the center directly and ask about their Atlantic City special events planning.
