Seaview Marriott Golf Course

The Seaview golf course is one of the premier Atlantic City golf courses and a major draw for guests to stay at the adjacent Seaview Marriott. The Marriott Seaview is a hotel in Atlantic City which owns the Seaview golf course. Guests of the hotel interested in golfing the course will receive a special discount on green fees at this Atlantic City golf course. The Seaview golf course is also a popular part of a number of Atlantic City golf course golfing packages in conjunction with other courses in town such as the Scotland Run Course, the Vineyard Golf Course and the Atlantic City Golf Club course.

The Seaview Marriott golf course covers more than 650 acres of land which includes forests and of course plenty of open green space. Marriott Seaview course was first designed in the early part of the 20th century and continues to be one of the favorite Atlantic City golf courses. The Seaview course has the distinction of being host to the 1942 PGA Championship, when golfer Sam Snead won the championship. The course has been an appealing course for professional golfers and novices alike. The Seaview golf course is an 18-hole, par 72 course with a number of intriguing challenges. The Seaview golf course also hosted the LPGA Classic first in the 1980s and again from 1998 until 2006. The Seaview course is also unique in that students and research professors from nearby Rutgers University use areas of the course for testing new grasses and different ways to keep golf courses pest-free during the height of golfing season.

Although the course was not originally built as part of a hotel establishment, the course was purchased by the Marriott Company in the 1980s and became the Seaview Marriott. Since that time, the Marriott Seaview has gained a reputation not only as one of the best Atlantic City golf courses, but also as an excellent hotel to stay in while on vacation in Atlantic City. The hotel features more than 300 guest rooms along with multiple swimming pools, trails for running and walking and a full service spa. There are also tennis courts on site and a number of other great activities.
