Storybook Land in New Jersey first opened its gates in 1955, and is owned and operated by the Fricano family, the amusement park’s original owners. With rides ranging from the Turtle Twirl, to the Happy Dragon, Whirley Bug, Rockin’ Tug, Bigfoot, and Rock Spin Roll, the park has a ride perfect for every young one in your life.

When visiting Storybook Land keep in mind that this park is geared toward young kids, and is not a theme park intended to compete with larger amusement parks offering death-defying rocket ship or roller-coaster rides. Rather Storybook Land is intended for young kids interested in good, clean, safe fun -- the kind that won’t leave Mom or Dad dizzy and drunk with nausea after one theme park ride. This park can be perfect for grandparents as well, who can no longer stomach the heart-dropping effects of the tilt-a-whirl or zero-gravity machine.

Storybook Land offers free parking for park visitors and also offers a variety of special events throughout the season. They offer a Trick or Treat Weekend for Halloween in October and a grand arrival by Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus in November, among others. Purchase your tickets in advance at the Storybook Land in New Jersey early ticket sale (Feb. 5th - March 5th). If you buy 3 park tickets, you get one free.

Keep in mind that Storybook Land in New Jersey maintains height/weight restrictions for some of the various theme park rides. They urge those with heart or back problems, or women who are pregnant to exercise caution at all times. Riders with disabilities may need to have helpers, and some rides may not be suitable.

Storybook Land is located on the Black Horse Pike in Cardiff in the Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. They are located 10 miles west of Atlantic City. Park maps are available online or at the Storybook Land ticket booth.
