New Jersey Resorts

When it comes to the Jersey Shore, some hotel owners seemingly stamp the word “resort” on the name of the hotel just because of an outdoor pool and some patio furniture. Part of figuring out New Jersey resorts is separating the glorified motels from the truly nice oceanfront resorts in New Jersey. This is a task worth engaging in prior to your vacation to the New Jersey beaches. New Jersey oceanfront resorts seem to be as numerous as the planks on the boardwalk, but there are a few resorts that can be sifted out from the rest. Atlantic City offers some top notch oceanfront resorts in New Jersey, while some lesser known locations are beginning to also contain great resorts for your enjoyment. Also, a completely different scene, a camping resort in New Jersey, is also a viable lodging option for great family memories.

Beginning with the “glitz and glamour” of Atlantic City, which is making quite a comeback as a gaming and resort destination, oceanfront resorts in New Jersey are numerous, but there are only a few that seem to be worth the money at this point. The Borgata Hotel, Casino, and Spa is one of a few oceanfront resorts in New Jersey that seems to live up to the hype, while still being just a touch on the pricey side. The Borgata has an excellent New Jersey Spa as well as offering great restaurants, fun New Jersey events, and even major performing artists, making it one of the real New Jersey Oceanfront Resorts worth checking into if can afford it. The Sheraton is another favorite in Atlantic City, especially for those who don’t want to stay at a resort that has a casino.

As for other New Jersey oceanfront resorts, a jaunt up to Galloway, New Jersey is well worth visiting the Stockton Seaview Resort and Spa. The fun in the sun includes a great golf course, and this is a great all-around resort property, and just a bit off the beaten path. Further south, the unpretentious quality of the Reges Oceanfront Resort is a fan favorite in Wildwood Crest.

If the posh, pricey New Jersey oceanfront resorts are not what you are looking for vacation, a visit to a camping resort in New Jersey may be a good option for you. Take your RV, or just a tent, and enjoy the New Jersey attractions, shopping, and beaches without spending nearly as much for lodging. If the weather is nice, give the Ocean View Resort Campground a try. The largest privately owned campground in the state, this wooded area is close to Ocean City and the Wildwoods. It also includes the Shore Gate golf club, which is a decent place to get 18 holes in if you are tired of the beach. Also, the North Wildwood Camping Resort is a great option for tent campers. Though it includes an RV section, the separate tent section will take you back to a time when camping was a bit simpler. This is one great camping resort in New Jersey, as is the scenic Bass River State Forest campground.

New Jersey resorts come in all different styles and price ranges, from five star hotel casinos to rustic camping resorts. Choose New Jersey oceanfront resorts that fit your lifestyle, and have a great trip.
