Farmington Hotels

The Farmington hotels mostly include chain establishments. Complementing the chain brand hotels and motels are more unique bed and breakfasts, and should you prefer, there are some good campgrounds at area destinations such as Navajo Lake State Park and the Angel Peak Recreational Area. For those in need of a place to park their RV, there are plenty of RV parks in the area as well, and the cabins at the Soaring Eagle Lodge are worth keeping in mind. In other words, finding Farmington accommodations that suit your wants and needs shouldn't be difficult.

The chain hotels and motels in Farmington New Mexico range in class and price, though all are well-priced on the whole. This is certainly the case with the Hampton Inn & Suites Farmington. This hotel at 1500 Bloomfield Boulevard offers 73 of the most comfortable guest units around, and these guest units come in the form of both rooms and suites. Premium bedding encourages a good night's sleep in the rooms and suites at the Hampton Inn & Suites Farmington, and you don't have to pay extra to enjoy high-speed Internet access. A flat-screen TV adds an upscale touch in the rooms and suites, and other standard amenities include a clock radio, a coffee maker, and a hair dryer. A free hot breakfast is included in the rates at the Hampton Inn & Suites Farmington, and guests won't have to pay extra to enjoy the indoor pool or the fitness room.

None of the Farmington New Mexico hotels that are chain lodging establishments are overly luxurious. Much like the Hampton Inn & Suites Farmington, however, the Courtyard by Marriott Farmington offers a considerable amount of comfort and is an excellent overall value. High-speed Internet access is included in the rates at the Courtyard by Marriott in Farmington New Mexico, and each of the 125 guest units features cable TV, a phone with voicemail, a work desk, a coffee maker, an iron, and a hair dryer. A few suites provide added space, and they are also equipped with microwaves, wet bars, and sleeper sofas. As for the facilities, guests at the Courtyard by Marriott Farmington will have a restaurant and a bar at their disposal. Other perks include an indoor pool, exercise room, and a coin-operated laundry center, as well as proximity to regional attractions such as the Four Corners Monument. 560 Scott Avenue is where you will find the Courtyard Farmington, and free parking is available.

While the more upscale Farmington New Mexico hotels offer rates that are more than fair, travelers who wish to spend even less on accommodations will have plenty of options. Among the best cheap hotels that can be found in and around town is the Region Inn, 601 East Broadway. What the Region Inn rooms lack in decor, they make up for in cleanliness, and you can hardly argue with the free breakfasts or the standard guestroom amenities. Standard amenities include cable TV, free Internet access, a mini refrigerator, a coffee maker, a hair dryer, and an iron. Some of the more expensive rooms are larger than others and feature extra perks, such as a reclining chair and/or a sleeper sofa. Even larger and more expensive suites are also available for those who are interested, and among their added amenities are wet bars and jetted tubs. Outside of the rooms and suites at the Region Inn, guests will find a restaurant that specializes in Mexican food, a guest laundry facility, a computer terminal that doesn't cost extra to use, and an outdoor pool.

The Farmington hotels include a few good bed and breakfasts, and should you be interested in staying at one, you might start with the Casa Blanca B&B. This delightful bed and breakfast at 505 East La Plata Street is known for offering plenty of style and comfort in its guest units. Eight of these guests units are spacious rooms, and there is a two-bedroom cottage with a full kitchen that is also available. Some of the rooms have kitchenettes, and depending on which one you book, you might also have access to a private hot tub. Fireplaces are also common amenities, and all of the guest units feature cable TV, high-speed Internet access, a small refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee maker, an iron, and a hair dryer. A gourmet breakfast is included in the rates at the Casa Blanca B&B, and a courtesy guest computer is available for anyone who wishes to use it.

No discussion about Farmington accommodations would be complete without mentioning Kokopelli's Cave. Anything but your average bed and breakfast, Kokopelli's Cave is a luxurious cave dwelling that can be found north of the city at 3204 Crestridge Drive. Miners carved this 1,650 square-foot apartment out of the side of a sandstone formation, and lying nearly 300 feet below is the La Plata River. The views are stunning, to say the least, and the amenities that you will find inside this unique residence are impressive. A well-equipped kitchen is something that you might not expect to find in a cave, and the waterfall-style shower is a nice added touch. A stone-laden hot tub and private laundry facilities also figure among the amenities at Kokopelli's Cave, and you can use the outside grill if you please. A continental breakfast is included in the rates, so you don't have to worry about morning meals. Being that it is a true cliff dwelling, a hike is required to get to Kokopelli's Cave. It should also be noted that it is closed from December through February.
