Los Alamos Hotels

The Los Alamos hotels provide good lodging options for business and leisure travelers alike. For leisure travelers, Los Alamos boasts some fascinating attractions, and the surrounding region offers no shortage of fun things to do. Business travelers, on the other hand, might appreciate the proximity that the Los Alamos accommodations offer to the once-secret Los Alamos National Laboratory; the city's main employer. Regardless of your travel intentions, the fact that the hotels in Los Alamos are well-priced on the whole should prove satisfying, and those who really want to save on rates will be happy to hear that there are a few low-cost motels to choose from.
Los Alamos isn't the best place to look if you are trying to find New Mexico luxury hotels, as none of the city's hotels are overly luxurious. That being said, there are a few chain brand establishments around town that offer a considerable amount of comfort. Among them is the Hampton Inn & Suites. Found at 124 State Highway 4, this Hampton brand offering has 72 rooms and suites, and each is equipped with cable TV, free high-speed Internet access, a work desk, a separate laptop desk, a mini fridge, a microwave, a radio alarm clock, a hair dryer, and complimentary bath products. Coffee makers are also provided, and you won't need to worry about wrinkled clothes, thanks to the in-room irons. As for the facilities, the Hampton Inn & Suites Los Alamos features a complimentary breakfast area, a small business center, a fitness room and a coin-operated laundry area.
If you are hoping to stay at one of the finer Los Alamos hotels, another lodging establishment that you might consider is the Best Western Hilltop House Hotel. This 92-unit hotel sits in the heart of downtown Los Alamos at 400 Trinity Drive. Guests can easily walk to museums and restaurants, and it doesn't take but a few minutes to drive to the Los Alamos National Laboratory. A hair dryer, an iron, upgraded bath products, a mini fridge, a microwave, free high-speed Internet access, and free local calls are among the standard amenity highlights at the Best Western Hilltop House Hotel, and flat-screen TVs add an upscale touch in the rooms and suites. Also adding to the nicer nature of this hotel is the onsite spa, and guests will have other great facilities to take advantage of. These facilities include an exercise room, a heated indoor pool, a 24-hour front desk that offers business services, a laundromat, and a lounge that serves dinner from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday.
While the rates at the Hampton Inn and the Best Western are friendly, those who are interested in Los Alamos accommodations that are even more affordable might prefer the Comfort Inn and Suites. This hotel offers many of the same amenities as its more upscale counterparts. You can enjoy free high-speed Internet access and cable TV in the guest units, for example, and breakfast doesn't cost extra. Outside of the clean and comfortable rooms, guests at the Comfort Inn and Suites Los Alamos will find a business center, an event room, an indoor hot tub, an outdoor swimming pool, and a fitness center. 2455 Trinity Drive is where you can find the Comfort Inn and Suites Los Alamos, which means that you'll be close to such great area attractions as the Bandelier National Monument and the Bradbury Science Museum.
