and the sun shines on for more then 300 days every year.

Taos travel along the access route from town to the
mountain can be an arduous one depending on the weather
conditions and can be a busy route, especially during
peak ski season. Some people prefer lodging
in town because of its colorful flavor while others

shuttles offer transportation to and from the ski hill.It's
just a matter of personal choice.
As for an alternative ski hill in Taos travel to Angelfire which is about 24 miles east of Taos and has 68 trails to explore and almost 2,100 feet of vertical terrain. Taos travel amid the Taos ski area can sometimes be hectic with the many skiers about but the incredible backdrop and great ski hills make it a hit year after year.
