Chinatown Hotels

Chinatown Hotels

The famous neighborhood of Chinatown is located just east of Broadway Street and also neighbors another popular neighborhood, Little Italy. The neighborhood is home to over 400,00 Chinese American residents and is best known for unique souvenir shops and delicious restaurants and delis serving everything from simple egg rolls to extravagant Chinese feasts. Chinatown is said to have over 300 restaurants crammed into a tiny section of Manhattan. Staying in Chinatown hotels is a great way to experience all there is to see in Chinatown and its neighboring districts.

For hotels in Chinatown in New York, try the Windsor Hotel, located right in the heart of Chinatown at 108 Forsyth Street. What makes the Windsor Hotel a good choice in Chinatown hotels in the fact that it's located within a few hundred feet of Little Italy and minutes away from Wall Street and the SoHo neighborhood. Public transportation is only a block away, so whether you're headed to the Empire State Building or Central Park, you're never too far away from the attractions in Manhattan. Some of the advantages of the budget priced Windsor Hotel include recently updated modern Asian furnishings, mini refrigerators in each room, views of the New York City skyline, and prices that beat other New York City Chinatown hotels.

Hotels in Chinatown New York are generally small, but this isn't the case with the Hotel Rivington. Guest rooms contain 380 square feet. This modern hotel was renovated from an older turn of the century building. The hotel is complete with floor to ceiling windows, simple white and red furnishings, and private terraces in two out of three rooms. A complimentary continental breakfast is served daily from 7:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m. For mid-priced New York City Chinatown hotels, the amenities included at the Hotel Rivington are extensive. Guests can look forward to ipod docking stations, a stainless steel Japanese soaking tub in each room, as well as brand new fitness equipment. Some say that the hotel reminds them of lodging in Asian cities such as Tokyo.

The Blue Moon is another one of the many Chinatown Hotels worth investigating. This small and inexpensive choice for hotels in Chinatown New York is located at 100 Orchard Street. Just like one of the other hotels in Chinatown New York hotels mentioned above, the spacious rooms contain over 300 feet. Five of the upper floor rooms have spectacular views of Manhattan and a few of the rooms have balconies. The Blue Moon serves a complimentary breakfast every day. There are only twenty two guest rooms available, so it's a good idea to book the hotel two to three months in advance of your stay to ensure the best availability of rooms. Booking your room far in advance is generally a good idea with all New York City Chinatown hotels.
