St Patrick’s Cathedral – Facing Rockefeller Center, St Patrick’s Cathedral is a Neo-Gothic Roman Catholic cathedral located in New York City. The cathedral took twenty years to build between the years of 1858 and 1878. The two spires measure 330 feet tall, the church base takes up an entire city block, and the interior can hold 2,200 people. The cathedral is certainly historic, but also has also entered into popular culture, namely an appearance in the movie Spider-Man and in James Patterson’s Step on a Crack.
