Dixie Classic Fair

The Dixie Classic Fair is a highly anticipated, ten-day annual event in Winston Salem, North Carolina that features national entertainment, livestock competitions, and concessions. It is one of the top fairs in the southern U.S. and the second-largest festival in North Carolina. The Dixie Classic Fair 2023 is expected to continue the upward swing in attendance, which has seen visitors in well in excess of 300,000 in past years.

The Dixie Classic Fair Winston Salem is generally held at the beginning of October. It is a ten-day event. The fair has its roots all the way back in the 1880s when it was staged in then Salem. It was moved to its current location at the fairgrounds in Winston Salem in 1952. There is a wide variety of entertainment and activities that are suitable for the entire family. Rides, games, livestock competitions, wine tasting, and arts and crafts workshops are just a few of the reasons why Dixie Fair 2023 will be better than ever.
Tickets to Dixie Classic Fair
The ticket setup if very simple for the fair. You have the option of purchasing single-day tickets, or multiple-day passes. Discounts are available for children ages 6 to 12. Seniors over the age of 65 and children under 5 get in free.
Directions to Dixie Classic Fair
The Dixie Classic Fairgrounds are located at 421 West 27th Street in Winston Salem. You can reach 27th Street off of Route 8. The fairgrounds are situated just north of Kimberly Park. The fairgrounds are specifically positioned in between Route 8 to the east and University Parkway to the west.
