Fayetteville Hotels

Fayetteville is located conveniently close to the Sandhills as well as Pinehurst and plenty of golfing and coastal activities. Cape Fear River is a major attraction and is one of the best places in the state for trout fishing as well as boating and other water activities. Downtown Fayetteville is really the best place to find great Fayetteville hotels and some good deals on other North Carolina hotels. Downtown historical museums are an excellent way to take a break from outdoor activities, while the nearby golfing resorts offer some of the world’s nicest golf courses designed by some of the greatest golfers ever to play the game. Take a trip over to Cape Fear National Park for a day of relaxing by the beach or enjoying the interesting sea and plant life.

Clarion Hotel Prince Charles

Among Fayetteville hotels, this is one of the best that travelers can find in the downtown area. Although this hotel is part of the Clarion chain of North Carolina hotels, there are some classy furnishings that are specific to Fayetteville and the south. Rooms include doubles and Fayetteville hotel suites, and prices are between $100 and $150 per night. A fitness room and free high-speed internet access are including as part of the hotel amenities.

Courtyard by Marriott

This is one of the best Fayetteville hotels for budget travelers looking for a deal on a place to stay. The hotel offers both double rooms and Fayetteville hotel suites, and is among the most popular North Carolina hotels in Fayetteville for business travelers. Families can also be nicely accommodated here, with an outdoor pool and hot tub that provides some fun and relaxation for children. This hotel is closer to the airport than it is to downtown, but it will still take just about ten minutes to reach all of the historical attractions of downtown Fayetteville. Prices sit comfortably between $120 for a double and $250 for Fayetteville hotel suites.

Holiday Inn Bordeaux

Of all the North Carolina hotels in Fayetteville, this is certainly the largest, boasting over 250 guest rooms and surrounding grounds that are big enough to house a small replica of the Eiffel Tower. There are fewer than a dozen suites, so if having a kitchenette and some extra space is a priority be sure to reserve your suite well in advance. The hotel is only three miles from downtown; perfect for an afternoon stroll or easily accessible by public transportation. The Holiday Inn Bordeaux also offers golf vacation packages, which combine the cost of your room with your green fees for a week or weekend of golfing. Room fees are between $70 and $150, but will increase from there if you add golfing. An onsite restaurant is open in the evenings, and the hotel also features an indoor pool.

There are also a number of other great hotels in the city of Fayetteville. To find seasonal deals or locate a specific hotel, try talking with a travel agent directly or searching online for North Carolina travel packages. In addition to golf resort packages, some companies specialize in fishing vacations in Fayetteville. From Fayetteville, the drive to Raleigh and Raleigh hotels for the next leg of your trip will only take about an hour. You can also explore some of Raleigh's best attractions, including the state capital building and the North Carolina Museum of Art, by taking a day trip from your Fayetteville hotel.
