North Dakota Airport Hotels

Finding good North Dakota airport hotels is made easy by the fact that even some of the smaller cities here feature their own airports. Dickinson, for example, is not a large city, but it still boasts an airport that can make getting there much easier. In the smaller North Dakota cities with airports, all of the local hotels are essentially airport hotels, as you'll hardly be far from the landing strips. In larger cities such as Fargo, however, some of the hotels can be a decent distance from the airport, which doesn't make for the most convenient lodging experience.

The most highly visited North Dakota airport hotels can be found in the state's larger cities. In the capital city of Bismarck, for example, there are a handful of good hotels to choose from that are only a few miles from the airport. The more upscale Bismarck airport hotels include the Best Western Ramkota and the Radisson Hotel, both of which are less than three miles from the airport. Should you be looking to save some money on rates when staying at one of the Bismarck airport hotels, the Fairfield Inn does well to offer a lot in the way of value. Should you want to save even more money, you can also consider the Days Inn or the Budget Inn Express. Because the Bismarck airport is so close to the downtown area, most of the Bismarck hotels qualify as airport hotels when you boil it down.

While the Bismarck airport is an ideal point of entry for those who are looking to visit the west-central part of the state, those who have business further east might opt to to land at the Grand Forks airport instead. The Grand Forks airport lodging options are quite extensive, and there are plenty of budget-oriented establishments to choose from. For those who are looking for more upscale Grand Forks airport lodging, the Hilton Garden Inn is a good choice, as is the Clarion Inn. Both of these hotels are barely more than four miles from the airport, so you'll hardly waste time getting to your room once you exit the plane and grab your bags. As for Grand Forks airport lodging that is more budget-friendly, the Settle Inn Suites and the Ramada Hotel are both worth considering. Should you still want to spend even less, the Super 8 Motel is hard to beat. The Super 8 Motels across the state are among the best establishments for those seeking cheap North Dakota hotels that are clean and dependable, so you'll want to keep them in mind as you go.

Fargo is the largest city in North Dakota, and the Fargo airport hotels, much like the other North Dakota airport hotels, are essentially what you will find in and around the downtown area. If you want to be as close to the Fargo airport as possible, both the Candlewood Suites University Area Hotel and the Days Inn Airport Dome Suites offer quality rooms that will have you less than two miles away. You can also go with the Homewood Suites Fargo, which is a tad more upscale, or the Super 8 Motel, which is among the cheaper options.

The Fargo, Grand Forks, and Bismarck airport hotels might be the most popular airport hotels in the state, but they aren't the only ones worth keeping on the radar. North Dakota boasts a few smaller airports that visitors can take advantage of when looking to maximize their travel experience, and there are lodging options close to them as well. Back in Dickinson, for example, the Comfort Inn does well to provide inbound travelers with a dependable place to rest their heads at night. Further north in Williston, the Airport International Inn is as easy to get to from the airport as you could want it to be. It might not be the most attractive hotel in the state, but it should more than meet your needs for a night or more before moving on.
