Comfest History and Facts

Ever since the first festival, ComFest has been all about unity and raising funds to help strengthen the community. The first festival unfolded in 1972, showcasing the organizations and nonprofits dedicated to the greater good.

It's come a long way from the early days when a few bands and a small crowds gathered at a tent near The Ohio University campus. As more events were added and more years passed, the festival's warm-hearted spirit has remained.

Directions to Comfest Columbus Ohio

Goodale Park is easy to find the heart of north Columbus; it's just minutes off Interstate 670. If you're coming from the south, follow Interstate 71 north from Cincinnati. Exit at Highway 670 west and then turn right once you reach Neil Avenue. From there, take a right at Buttles; the park is on the right, too. From the airport, the route is exactly the same, except you'll take Interstate 70 west to Highway 670.

If you're starting northwest of Columbus, take highway 315 south en route to Comfest Columbus Ohio. At the junction of Neil Avenue, turn left. The first stoplight is Buttles, where you're take a right. Goodale Park is easy to find on the right. You won't be able to miss the crowds gathered for the fun of ComFest 2023.
