Progressive Field, once known as Jacobs Field and locally known as The Jake, is the Cleveland Indians home stadium. Although there are fewer seats at this venue than at the original Municipal Stadium, it is much more contemporary in scope and design. Municipal Stadium's 74,000 seats rarely filled up in its long history, which dates back to 1932, while Jacobs Field is almost always full when games are on. Progresive Field seats more than 43,000 in total, and many more luxury boxes and larger clubhouses are available. The stadium is also conveniently located in the heart of downtown Cleveland.

Although Jacobs Field Cleveland has many modern amenities and features it's still much like a classic ballpark design. The field is asymmetrical and bleachers that are perched atop the left-field wall at 19 feet are just a couple of the old-style ballpark features. A great view of downtown Cleveland can be had as well because the ballpark isn't completely enclosed.
Progressive Field seats follow both lines and are angled to sit toward home plate. No more turning heads and cranked necks to see your favorite play! Behind first base is Kidsland that has special features and concessions just for children. There are bullpens that feature three mounds and seem to be built for the fans! The mounds at Jacobs Field Cleveland are raised above the playing field so fans can watch their favorite players warming up! Transportation to the stadium is convenient by bus or car.
