For travelers to the Oregon Coast and throughout the state of Oregon, Oregon resorts can be a great option. A number of resorts in Oregon, including Oregon Coast resorts and Bend Oregon resorts, make staying in Oregon pleasurable and luxurious. Whatever your reasons for coming to Oregon resorts, you will find that a number of resorts, from Sunriver to Astoria, make Oregon vacations quite enjoyable.
Oregon Coast resorts are found all along the coast, from the northern border with Washington to the southern border with California. Oregon Coast resorts tend to be geared toward family entertainment, no matter which town you choose to stay in. Cannon Beach remains one of the most family-oriented towns on the coast, and the Hallmark Resort exemplifies this characteristic. At the Hallmark Resort, guests will have views of the ocean while they dine in the main restaurant, and the town itself centers on family conferences throughout the year. Resorts in Oregon along the coast come to life in the summer, as do the towns which they inhabit.
There are also a number of resorts in Oregon that are found inland, on ranches and close to the Willamette Valley wine country. Bend Oregon resorts in particular remain quite popular. Sunriver Lodge and Resort in Sunriver, just south of Bend, is one of the most trafficked in the area. Although the Sunriver Resort tends to be more expensive, with rooms ranging from $150 a night to more than $300, the resort does offer many extras, such as golfing onsite and complimentary breakfast. Bend Oregon resorts cater to families more than any other group, and the number of activities available for children makes this apparent, which include horse back riding, paved biking trails that run through the resort town, and babysitting services. Multiple golf courses are located near Bend thanks to the acres of open space, as well as National Parks that are perfect for touring and exploring.
Another popular resort in Oregon is the Black Butte Ranch, located in Sisters Oregon. Not more than a few hours from Bend in central Oregon, the Black Butte Ranch offers a lake for kayaking; horseback riding stables, trails and lessons; bike paths; four separate swimming pools and lots of other organized activities for children and adults. Price range from $200 a night to $500, depending on the number of rooms in your house or condo. There are also babysitting services available for parents who want to spend the day golfing or enjoying their own activities while the children are entertained.
Close to Mt Bachelor, the Seventh Mountain Resort is yet another popular choice. The resort has its own ice-skating rink and multiple swimming pools, and is popular during the summer and winter. Miniature golf, a basketball court and lots of other activities for families are available throughout the year. Surprising, this resort is actually busiest during the summer, when families come to enjoy the pools, hiking trails and paved biking paths.
