The Memphis Brooks Museum of Art is found east of downtown in Overton Park, Memphis. More than 86,000 square feet of space are home to a collection of artwork including fine and decorative art from antiques to present day works. the museum including works from Pissaso, Renoir, Reynolds,

Admission to the Memphis Art Museum is $6.00, or go on a Wednesday and it’s free of charge! On Mondays the Memphis art museum is closed to the public so keep that in mind when planning a visit. A convenient option the museum offers is if visitors leave the museum, any part of the building can be re-entered at any time during that same day of purchase. This is convenient if wanting to break up a long visit.
The museum is kept at quite a cool temperature which better preserves the works on display so remember to take along a jacket or warm sweater. The bistro offers southern-style gourmet cuisine on the main level and the menu can be viewed at the museums website ahead of time.
The Children’s Museum in Memphis is a great place to take the kids for the afternoon.
