Clarksville Tennessee

Located in Montgomery County in the northwest part of the state, Clarksville Tennessee runs along the Cumberland River between Kentucky and Nashville and used to be an old 19th century tobacco port. The area surrounding Clarksville Tennessee features beautiful landscapes, lakes, bluffs and caves and is a popular hiking, camping and fishing area.

Dunbar Cave State Park is also a point of interest offering many things to do and is located only 1.5 miles northeast of Clarksville. This is the most prominent of numerous caves found in the designated natural area. Once upon a time square dances, radio shows and big-band era concerts were held in the mouth of the cave.

American, Chinese, Japanese, and Italian Clarksville restaurants can all be found in the city as well as a number of pizza joints and seafood restaurants. There are plenty of Clarksville restaurants that are part of bigger chains restaurants and offer convenient and easy dining with reliable consistency. Some chains include Outback Steakhouse, Ponderosa Steakhouse, The Olive Garden and Applebee's.

Old World Breads offers tasty and affordable fresh sandwiches and is great to pop in at lunch time. Other Clarksville restaurants include lots of country kitchens, waffle houses and hamburger joints so there's plenty of options for a filling and satisfying meal.
