The cities name literally means the “body of Christ.” It took this name, because it wanted to commemorate the first day of this cities induction day. Now Corpus Christi has erupted in key industries like health care, education and certainly tourism.

It has all the stores everyone is used to such as JC Penney and Foley’s. It is the areas most popular shopping destination. Another place to try is Sunrise Mall. It offers some of your favorite shops, food court and the option of catching a movie.
