Dallas Pet Friendly Hotels

Dallas pet friendly hotels are ideal places to stay for travelers who don't want to leave their canine or feline friends behind when visiting the area. The Dallas hotels that allow pets tend to accept both dogs and cats, provided that they are within size specifications. Larger dogs are understandably harder to accommodate, in which case most of the pet friendly lodging establishments have size limits. More often than not, a dog weighing more than 50 pounds won't be allowed at the Dallas pet friendly hotels. Those with larger dogs might have better luck finding a vacation rental that can accommodate their furry friends.

The Dallas hotels that allow pets include some of the best hotels in the area. The Hotel Zaza (pictured), for example, allows two pets per accommodation, provided that these pets are medium sized or smaller. For those who want to spend less on their Downtown Dallas hotel, the Hotel Lawrence offers a considerable amount of luxury at a good price. Pets are welcome at this historic West End Hotel, provided that they weigh 30 pounds or less. There are many cheap Dallas hotels that allow pets, as well as motels such as the Super 8 By The Galleria offering some of the lowest rates around.

Not all of the Dallas pet friendly hotels can be found in Dallas proper, and the surrounding cities can also be excellent places to stay when visiting the area. In Addison, some excellent shopping and dining await, and visitors with pets can save some money for these pursuits by staying at the pet friendly Motel 6. In Irving, the Candlewood Suites Hotel Dallas-Las Colinas Hotel is just one of the other pet friendly hotels that can be found in the area, and travelers might be interested to know that all of the suites at this comfortable hotel have full kitchens.

In addition to looking for a pet friendly hotel, North Texas travelers can also search for a Dallas pet resort. A pet resort can be one of two things. It can either be a resort hotel that allows pets or an animal-specific retreat where owners can leave their pets for various periods of time. As for a Dallas pet resort that accommodates humans as well as pets, the Westin Stonebriar in Frisco is an attractive example. In addition to pet friendly accommodations, this upscale resort also boasts a spa, an 18-hole golf course, and plenty of tantalizing space for weddings, business meetings, and other special events.

As for those who are looking for a Dallas pet resort that only caters to animals, these can be found in good number across the Dallas-Fort Worth area. These pet resorts specializing in caring for pets while owners vacation or spend time focusing on business or other pursuits, such as shopping, visiting museums. For those who want to know how their pets are doing while they are separated, some of the better pet resort establishments offer live online video of their facilities.

It is worth noting that travelers who bring pets with them to the pet friendly Dallas hotels will usually have to pay an added fee to accommodate their animals. They will also have to pay an extra deposit fee on most occasions. As long as the pet or pets in question don't cause any damage to the room, the extra deposit fee will be refunded.
