Moab Utah

Moab Utah is, quite simply, one of the most beautiful destinations in the United States. There is an abundance of adjectives that could be used to describe the town, but even the poetry and prose of the greatest writers could not do this area justice. When you visit Moab, you will be enticed to discover, explore, and try to decipher the mysteries of her wondrous rock formations, gravity-defying arches and spires, ancestral Puebloan dwellings, and vast, lush green valleys.

In the 1800s, the area that is now Moab Utah served as a crossing point for the Colorado River. Although the Mormon settlers tried to establish a trading port in the area, repeated attacks by the local Native American inhabitants caused the project to be abandoned. The first permanent settlement was established in 1878, and the town was officially incorporated on December 20, 1902. Today, the Moab area is considered a popular mecca for camping, mountain biking, air tours, and camping.
