Sundance Ski Resort

Sundance Ski Resort is perhaps the most widely recognized of all such destinations in the state of Utah, and this in a state with such amazing ski areas as Brian Head and Solitude. This is one of the best places in general to enjoy all inclusive ski vacations, as there is no shortage of activities or attractions for people of all ages. The fun and excitement lasts all year longs at the Sundance Ski Area, from skiing and snowboarding in the winter, to mountain biking, hiking, music concerts, spa treatments, and art classes during the rest of the year.

Sundance is nestled in a picturesque setting against the 12,000-foot-high Mount Timpanogos. There are 41 runs spread out over 500 acres of magnificent terrain, and fun features such as night races and skiing, terrain parks, tubing, and cross country skiing. Twenty percent of the ski runs are for beginners and the remaining 80 percent are split up evenly between intermediate and advanced runs. Take advantage of beautiful lodging at the Sundance Ski Lodge and be sure not to miss all of the options at your disposal for dining and entertainment at the resort. Sundance prides itself on being a family-friendly resort, as it offers childcare services and plenty of other accommodations that put parents with small children at ease.

If you are interested in Sundance ski rentals, or generally are in need of renting or buying any last-minute gear, you will be able to do so at the onsite ski shop. There are also a variety of packages for ski lessons for people of all ages. Whether you live in the area and want to take daily or weekly lessons, or are a family on vacation looking to improve over the course of a couple days, there is something to suit just about everyone’s needs. From the Sundance Ski Lodge and the restaurants and pubs to the excellent lessons and instruction, everything about Sundance is first rate.

Lodging is another area in which the Sundance Ski Resort truly excels. This is largely because of the fact that careful attention is paid to integrating the various accommodations into the natural setting of the mountain and forest of the Sundance Ski Area. There are Sundance Suites, Standards, and Studios, Mountain Suites, Mountain Lofts, and Mountain Homes available at the Sundance Ski Resort. The Sundance Ski Lodge is the perfect place for a drink and a meal after a day on the slopes and the accommodations could not be more beautiful. Based on how many people you have in your group and what amenities you require, you can pick from the array of accommodations at your disposal. Many of these are luxury accommodations that feature things like flat panel televisions, saunas, and much more.

You will also be able to enjoy live entertainment at the favorite Owl Bar, incredible views Mount Timpanogos and a fine meal at the Foundry Grill, and elegant, fine dining at the candle lit Tree Room. These are just the options available for dining onsite at the Sundance Ski Area. The spa at Sundance is just one more feature that sets this destination apart from many of its competitors in the state of Utah, and plenty of other ski resorts in the likes of California and New Mexico. Relax and rejuvenate with any number of personalized treatments before heading back out to the slopes or back to your tranquil mountain chalet. It’s all in a day’s work at this enviable resort near Salt Lake in Utah.
