Virginia Beach Restaurants

Virginia Beach restaurants are distributed throughout virtually every corner of this vacation hotspot. Millions of people descend upon the city every year to take advantage of the awesome weather and some 35 miles of beautiful beaches. As such, there are literally hundreds of Virginia Beach restaurants that offer everything from casual to upscale, fine dining. There is plenty of amazing seafood and fresh catches coming in every day. The only challenge may be narrowing the choice down to a couple of options from which to choose. If you are staying one of the hotels or resorts, you will likely also have an array of dining options onsite.
The Virginia Beach Boardwalk (spanning over 35 blocks along the oceanfront) offers a huge selection of dining options. This area is called the Resort Area and is the heart of the tourist activity in Virginia Beach. The Resort Area is home to not only a multitude of restaurants, bars, and cafes, but also galleries, shops, and entertainment venues. There is never a lack of things to do along the Boardwalk, and this also happens to be one of the places where you can readily find amazingly fresh seafood. It may be a good idea to get a recommendation from your concierge for a place nearby that suits your fancy. Besides official eateries, you will also find vendors selling food and beverages of all kinds.
The Town Center, located just off of I-264 and an easy drive from the resort section, is another place where you can enjoy a number of restaurants. The Town Center features a plethora of stores as well as over twenty restaurants. Many of the restaurants are fun places that also offer live entertainment. Town Center is a great place to take the entire family for a fun dinner and some shopping, especially if you need an afternoon break from the sun.
Atlantic Avenue is where many of the best resorts in Virginia Beach are located, so it’s no wonder that you will also locate some of the finest restaurants here as well. Guests of resorts like the Cavalier Hotel and the Ocean Beach Club know just how vibrant and exciting this part of Virginia Beach can be. Not only will you find restaurants, bars, and other eateries, but also direct access to the beach. One of the great things about the restaurants in and around these oceanfront hotels is the spectacular view that they many times offer.
There is nothing quite like dining while overlooking the ocean in Virginia Beach. The miles of beaches provide the perfect backdrop for many of the most popular Virginia Beach restaurants. You could stay in Virginia Beach for a month and try a new restaurant every day and you would not come close to scratching the surface of all that is available in this hot spot on the Atlantic.
