Virginia Beach Clubs

Virginia Beach clubs are numerous and can be found in all sections of town. There are many bars and clubs, hotels, restaurants, and attractions in a city that offers some 35 miles of recreational beaches. The long and wide stretch of coastline that marks Virginia Beach draws millions of visitors each and every year. But when the sun goes down, people turn their attention to the Virginia Beach nightlife scene. There is something for everyone to enjoy, whether you prefer heart pumping club action or romantic dinners by the beach.

People go to Virginia Beach to have a good time. There are events and festivals throughout the year. Festivities include everything from a beach monster car rally to a wine festival. No matter when you visit, you can guarantee there will be hundreds of Virginia Beach bars competing for your business. There are many fun places located along the miles of waterfront and in the Resort Area, including countless seafood restaurants that offer full bars and all kinds of tropical beverages.

The Boardwalk is the epicenter of much of the Virginia Beach nightlife. It spans from 3rd Street all the way to 39th Street, spanning three miles along the Atlantic Ocean. There is a multitude of hotels, resorts, restaurants, bars, and clubs up and down the Boardwalk. There are stages located 7th Street, 17th Street, and 24th Street that host concerts throughout and the summer. Neptune Park offers nightly entertainment. It is located at 30th Street, right on the ocean.

You’ll notice that some of the best Virginia Beach clubs and bars are located inside or adjacent to the top resorts and hotels along the waterfront. Many of the oceanfront hotels host parties on the beach with music, live entertainment, food, and cocktails. Although there are some clubs in the city, the most popular destinations by far are located on the beach. If you are not so much into a raging club scene, you can always opt for a long dinner at one of the many fine dining restaurants, followed by a walk on the beach or a stroll through town. Town Center is within easy reach of the beach and offers over twenty restaurants and bars, many of which double as entertainment venues with live music, comedy, and dance.

The Verizon Wireless Amphitheater (commonly referred to as the Virginia Beach Amphitheater) is a 20,000-seat venue that attracts the largest concerts to this vacation destination. The Verizon Wireless American Music Festival is the biggest music event of the year in Virginia Beach, drawing huge names from the world of entertainment, as well as tens of thousands of eager fans.

One of the best ways to get acquainted with the nightlife in Virginia Beach is to start exploring areas around your hotel. If you are staying anywhere near the Boardwalk, you will not have to go far at all before you run into tons of places. Atlantic Avenue teems over with luxury hotels, clubs, restaurants, and bars. People that stay at these accommodations not only enjoy direct access to the beach, but close proximity to the best nightlife anywhere to be found in Virginia Beach.
