Virginia Beach Pet Friendly Hotel

A Virginia Beach pet friendly hotel lets you take the entire family on the trip. There is good news for those people who love to take their pets to the beach. There is a good number of Virginia Beach pet hotels, many of which charge a small fee for animals, but some which allow pets under a certain size for free. Since so many of the accommodations in Virginia Beach allow pets, and many that do charge a fee stay within the same general range, it may come down to where exactly you wish to stay along the beach.
The La Quinta Virginia Beach (not to be confused with La Quinta Inn in Virginia Beach on Newtown Road) is a pet friendly hotel where you will not be asked to compromise comfort, cleanliness, or a great location in order to find a pleasant stay. You will also not be asked to pay a dime for cats or dogs below 50 pounds. Amenities include an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, hot tubs, fitness room, a game room, and access to the beach less than a block away. You can enjoy everything from swimming and horseback riding to snorkeling and boating. All of these activities and more are just steps away from this affordable, pet friendly hotel located on Pacific Avenue.
The Red Roof Inn Virginia Beach is located on Ballard Court, just minutes from the beach and within close proximity of area attractions like the Convention Center and Virginia Aquarium. There are not too many standout features of which to speak, although the rooms are clean and comfortable and the hotel is worth mentioning because there is a no-fee policy for pets. People are allowed one pet per group or family and must check in with the front desk. Visitors are liable for any room damages.
The Budget Lodge Beach Quarters is a hotel that offers pet friendly accommodations for a reasonable fee per night. This only applies to dogs that weigh 25 pounds or less. No big guys allowed. It is not uncommon for hotels along the beach within closer proximity of all of the attractions like the Boardwalk and Virginia Aquarium to charge a fee for the pets (usually about $20), as these accommodations are quite simply in greater demand. You’ll have to pay for your pet but you can let him or her run right out onto the beach from the hotel. There is also a pool, free parking, and 24-hour reception. The guest accommodations all either offer views of the ocean or the Virginia Beach Marina.
For people looking a Virginia Beach pet friendly hotel where they can still enjoy a luxurious experience, you may consider the Residence Inn Oceanfront. This hotel is situated on Atlantic Avenue in the heart of the Boardwalk and resort district. You’ll be within easy walking distance of restaurants, bars, and cafes. The hotel offers 72 nicely appointed suites with ocean views, direct access to the beach, swimming pool, fitness center, and a hot breakfast buffet. It is a nice hotel for a good price. Pets are allowed with a non-refundable sanitation fee.
