Seattle Argosy Cruises

Argosy Cruises
Argosy Cruises | Cruises to Alaska | Cruise Terminal / Seattle Waterfront | Seattle Cruises | Victoria Clipper

Showcasing the unparalleled beauty of the Pacific Northwest, for over 55 years, Argosy Cruises is well known among locals and the first choice of tourists who want to see Seattle from the water. From its humble beginnings as a Water Taxi to its evolutions to the Seattle Harbor Tours company, Argosy Cruises now has nine ships that take tourists on Seattle cruises, giving visitors a great Seattle sightseeing experience. They leave from Lake Union, downtown Seattle, and the Kirkland waterfront.

Located right on Pier 55 and Alaskan Way in Seattle, an Argosy cruise starts right at the most popular part of the waterfront. Tourists who travel to Seattle are down here going to the shops on the pier and eating great fresh seafood. They inevitably see the maritime inspired window displays and catch sigh of the clean back and white uniforms of the employees who work on an Argosy cruise, and begin to ask questions.

There are a number of different options, with four public Seattle cruises. No matter which Argosy cruise you take, it will have live narration and feature incredible views of the top landmarks of Seattle sightseeing. Locals on a fun weekend excursion and tourists alike will love this very Pacific Northwest experience.

The Seattle Harbor cruise is a great way to get an idea of the layout of the city, and is a great way to learn about the area if you've never had the pleasure of enjoying travel to Seattle. The one hour harbor cruise tells you about the history of Seattle, and a close up look at the bustle of the shipping terminal, which is one of the world's largest. These tours leave every day from Pier 56.

The Lake Cruise is one of the Argosy Cruises that let you see the other shores of Seattle. You will board at the AGC Marina at Lake Union, and go on a 2-hour tour of the lovely houseboats and scenic vista of Lake Union.

The Lake Cruise from the Kirkland shore is a different kind of Seattle cruise. You will get to see the Kirkland waterfront, and enjoy great views of Mount Rainier if it's a clear day. This cruise only takes place day from May to September, when there is a higher volume of visitors who choose to travel to Seattle. Other times of the year it takes place on weekends only.

Argosy cruises will also take you on a cruise of the Locks of Ballard, which connect Lake Washington to Puget Sound. There is a fine dining ship as well, which allows you to enjoy an excellent three-course meal while you take in the amazing scenery. If you'd like to have a wedding or plan a special event on an Argosy cruise, you can also charter a private boat.

Whether you want to tour the waterfront or enjoy a romantic dinner cruise on Puget Sound, Argosy cruises has the perfect trip just waiting for you.
