The Deer Harbor Inn is not to be overlooked if you are trying to find accommodations for your escape to Washington State’s wonderful San Juan Islands. Found on Orcas Island, this historic resort overlooks the Harbor and also offers views of the soaring mountains on the Olympic Peninsula. All of the guestrooms in the Log Cabin Lodge have private bathrooms, and some also feature electric fireplaces. Outside of the rooms, the Log Cabin Lodge features an upstairs sitting room with a fireplace, a TV, and a DVD player. Various DVDs are available for viewing. In the lower sitting room of the Log Cabin Lodge, you will find a library and a complimentary computer station. The lodge can be rented out by larger groups and also features a six-person hot tub under the gazebo.

The various cottages that can be rented at the Deer Harbor Inn offer a lot in the way of privacy and feature such amenities as satellite TV, DVD players, fireplaces, fridges, microwaves, and coffee pots. As is true of the lodge units and the Norton’s Harbor View House, they also feature a charming, country-style decor. All of the cottages and vacation rental houses are pet-friendly. As for the general facilities at the Deer Harbor Inn, they include a restaurant and a spa cabin that offers massage services and organic facials. As a side note, the Deer Harbor Inn on Orcas Island hosts weddings and offers full-service catering at any location on the island.
