Despite its higher profile, Methow Valley remains an area of relatively untouched natural beauty. Also found near the town of Winthrop, the Chewuch Inn offers getaways that keep guests relaxed. Guests have access to great amenities like the video library, billiards, and the outdoor spa. For those who love breakfast, don't miss the Trailside Breakfast buffet served every morning featuring their famous Chewuch Inn Scones. At the inn you'll find accommodations from a standard room to a room with a fireplace. There are also two cabin styles available if you need more privacy. Their rates vary by regular season and quiet season. Quiet season being the cheaper of the two. Generally, the quiet seasons are the month of November through half of December and the end of March through the end of April. Be sure to ask about the rates before booking.

Methow Valley lodging ranges from the high-end Methow resort of Sun Mountain Lodge Washington to the simple $5 campsites in the Okanogan and Wenatchee National Forests. In between these extremes, visitors can choose between a Methow Valley bed and breakfast or an Old West hotel in downtown Winthrop.

Winthrop is the recreational hub for the Methow Valley. A visit here is like a trip into the middle of a Hollywood Western. Old West facades dot the main street, a covered wooden walkway. Winthrop hotels like the Hotel Rio Vista and the Mt Garner Inn are good choices for lodging in Methow Valley. The town has all the facilities and stores you would expect from a modern destination town.

The Twisp River Inn is another good Methow Valley bed and breakfast.

Many visitors come to the Methow Valley following the Pacific Crest Trail. Hardy hikers traversing this or other paths in the Northern Cascades will find many campsites to rest after a hard day's walk. Campsites in national forests and parks are a good place for families too. The North Cascades National Park campground just outside Winthrop has cabins and sites for tents and RVs. With bike rental, on-site fishing, hiking trails, a convenience store, and easy access to the stores and museums in Winthrop, this campground is a great place for inexpensive lodging in Methow Valley.
