Spas in Seattle

Spas in Seattle cater to the all organic set as well as those simply looking for an all out day (or weekend) of pampering. Everything from an exclusive Swiss shower and salt scrub to a relaxing facial or simple nail treatment can be found at spas in Seattle area. Seattle day spas are popular among both locals and travelers. For most of the upscale spas in Seattle, expect to pay what you would in any other large metropolitan area. Upscale spas with trendy products are generally in season at Seattle day spas.

If you plan to visit a Seattle spa or any kind of day spa, be sure to check in at the front desk, and the hostess will usually take over from there. Most spas have lockers in the backrooms where you can store your personal belongings, and you will then be given a robe and slippers to wander about in during your time at the spa. Towels, bathroom amenities and showers are all part of the spa experience, so that once you are done with your treatments you can spend some time getting ready before you leave the spa.

Spas in Seattle will all accept major credit cards; usually Visa and MasterCard at the very least.  Along with spa treatments, guests can also buy products at most spas.  Mention products you like as you go through your treatments, or do your shopping at the end; spa staff will be happy to find products which cater to your specific skin and body needs.  Below, you will find a list of some of Seattle’s more popular spas.

The Hothouse Spa and Sauna

Located on Pike Street in Seattle’s colorful Capitol Hill neighborhood, the Hothouse Spa and Sauna is a day spa Seattle just for women, and is one of the least expensive choices among Seattle day spas travelers are likely to find. As an all-female spa, nudity is the norm, and a day pass to the Hothouse (available for under $15) will grant access to unlimited roaming through high-speed showers, a sauna, steam room, cooling room, and hot tub. Massage services are also available for a fee.

Jeremy Todd Wellness Spa and Salon

For one of the most upscale spa experiences in Seattle, try Jeremy Todd. This day Spa Seattle is the Northwest’s answer to trendy New York spas. Everything from a stone massage to a full body wrap can be booked here, as well as a lengthy menu of skin, hair, nail and body treatments. Although this spa Seattle is linked to the Four Season Hotel in downtown Seattle, it is definitely its own entity. Prices start at about $65, and can reach over $200. Packages will cost between $300 and $600, and a number of seasonal “wellness” packages are pre-designed each quarter by the Jeremy Todd staff.

Habitude at the Locks

Located in Ballard near the Ballard Locks, the Habitude Salon and Day Spa Seattle is purely Seattle and all organic. Utilizing the best of the Aveda product line, which specializes in organic body products, Habitude is a great place to unwind for a simple massage or an entire day of treatments. The salty smell of the ocean greets travelers as they get closer to the locks. Once inside this day spa Seattle, the world disappears. Low lighting, complimentary tea and snacks, and a robe and slippers in which to wander the halls create an excellent atmosphere. The spa is found on the second floor of the building, and guests can get massage services, facials, nail services and makeup consultations. The first floor is the salon, where upscale stylists can work wonders on your hair. It is also possible to book a day at the spa which includes services from the spa and the salon. Prices range from around $50 to over $600 for a package.

Etherea Salon Spa

If you want to combine your time at spas in Seattle with shopping or a trip to Pike Place Market, try the Etherea Salon Spa. This is another of the spas in Seattle area which focuses on organic products. In addition, Etherea is located just blocks from Pike Place Market and all of the busy action happening along 1st avenue in downtown Seattle. This spa is quite small, so if you plan to visit you must make reservations well in advance. Prices start in the $35 range and move on up to just over $400 for a full day of multiple services. This is also one of the most popular spas in Seattle area.
