In the heart of Palermo Viejo, the neighborhood immortalized by famous writer Lorge Luis Borges, this was the first designer bed and breakfast in Argentina. Built in a house called a porteƱo from the late eighteenth century, the structure was originally the San Vicente Ferrer Ladies' Home. Each room originally had a kitchen and no bathroom, but Malabia House remodeled these into bathrooms. Now, the Malabia House has a homey atmosphere and is one of the best places to stay in town.
