Overview: Patagonia Tour

Second only to Buenos Aires, Northern Patagonia is the most visited area of Argentina and there is no better way to enjoy this region than by taking guided Patagonia tours led by the experienced guides of the Ten Rivers & Ten Lakes Lodges and Boutique Hotels. Ten Rivers & Ten Lakes offers the Seven Lakes Tour—a tour of Argentina exploring the most beautiful corners of this region, including Bariloche and San Martin de los Andes.

Millions of acres of world-class attractions such as national parks, great lakes, and small towns welcome nature lovers and outdoors enthusiasts from all over the world. While there are activities year round to enjoy during a tour of Argentina, summer is the ideal season for trekking, off-road tours, kayaking, golfing, or fly-fishing. One of the most attractive cities in the world and in Argentina is in this region is Bariloche. Located on the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi and surrounded by mountains and forests, Bariloche features an array of hiking and water sports activities. During the summer, things heat up and beaches like Playa Bonita and Villa Tacul come alive with sunbathers and fishermen.

This amazing environment allows visitors to enjoy diverse experiences in Bariloche, from the more extreme sports to sunbathing to golf. Golf is one of the most popular activities to enjoy during Patagonia tours or specifically a Bariloche Argentina tour. Take a break and play on a challenging golf course while enjoying a view of the snow-covered Andes mountains, gorgeous-blue lakes, and the forests of the national park. Bariloche is the only place in Patagonia with two gorgeous 18-hole, championship golf courses.

Another popular vacation destination on Patagonia tours is San Martin de Los Andes in northern Patagonia. This region is known for its amazing wildlife and also for the Lanin National Park. Due to the natural beauty here, San Martin De Los Andes is home to Latin America’s first golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus and Jack Nicklaus II, the Chapelco Golf Club.
