Rosario Hotels

The city of Rosario Argentina may not make top priority on many Argentina holiday agendas, but it does offer a number of fun of things to do while visiting. Rosario lodging is available in abundance thanks to its prominent commercial and agricultural designation. Many Argentinians travel to the city on business boosting the need for accommodation. Mid-range hotels are the most common, offering many ideal amenities for guests. Most travelers are pleased with the cleanliness, abundant services and locations of Rosario hotels. With a large city like Rosario comes a wide selection in bars, restaurants, theaters, and attractions. Car rentals and train service can be easily arranged for convenient transportation. There are also numerous direct, regular flights in Argentina heading into Rosario from major cities like Buenos Aires and Salta, making connections a snap.

The backpacker circuit is ripe in the city and the cheap hotels in Rosario are booked quickly. If you're planning on visiting, plan ahead and book a hotel room in advance, especially if you're arriving on a weekend when things get quite busy. Hostels are sprouting up all over and replacing some of the more traditional cheap hotels in Rosario. The tourist office in the center of town offers an extensive list of the Rosario lodging with new hostels being added to the list often. Most of the hostels are situated in the downtown area along with a number of larger Rosario hotels. Many of these accommodation options skirt the waterfront and are close to shopping, dining, and the lively nightlife Rosario is well known for.

Most popular with young backpackers is La Casona de Don Jaime, a vibrant and well-kept hostel with excellent atmosphere and amenities. La Casona de Don Jaime is close to Plaza Sarmiento where bustling nightlife is the main attraction. Don Jaime has two locations, one slightly smaller than the other and sharing a space with a Reggae Bar generating a spirited environment and a great place to meet like minded travelers. The hostels are mere blocks away from each other and both offer great food and drinks. Don Jaime 2 offers WiFi access, a ping pong table, and dual outdoor patios making it an ideal choice for hip crowds and a much better option than many of the Rosario hotels available.

For travelers craving a hotel chain offering some of the comforts and much of the atmosphere of home, there is a Holiday Inn as well as a Howard Johnson in the city. Rosario accommodations inside both of these hotels are exactly what you would expect. The Holiday Inn was the first official international hotel chain to lay stakes in Rosario. Close to this average yet affordable and reliable Rosario lodging choice, tourists will find a number of attractions. The lovely Parana River, the beaches, excellent shopping opportunities and the Victoria bridge are all within walking distance. The bright rooftop patio, large swimming pool, modern fitness center, and panoramic views are all highlights of the Holiday Inn Rosario.

Rosario accommodations at Plaza Real are a step above all of the other city hotels. Tauted as a five-star facility, most travelers consider it a really good hotel choice overall. It is by far the most modern and updated hotel in Rosario. The hotel's attributes include a fantastic location near the waterfront close to many stylish cafes and restaurants. Suites, rooms, and apartments are extremely modern, clean, and comfortable and offer plenty of space for families. Friendly and professional staff offer helpful advice for travelers, a trait many hotels lack. Breakfast is included in the hotel rate and is one of the finest in the city.

With a rise in cheap hotels in Rosario, a more budget-friendly crowd is taking advantage of the city's offerings. The pairing of city delights along with a handful of great beach areas and small islands in the north of the city are a nice mix for travelers seeking both excitement and relaxation during Argentina vacations. In the center of Rosario, two major pedestrian thoroughfares cross, presenting ample opportunity to take a relaxing stroll, enjoy a traditional Argentinian meal, and stop for a few cocktails before calling it a night. Along Calle Cordoba, shopping is an engaging activity with six blocks brimming with inviting stalls, shops, and boutiques. At the intersection of Calle Cordoba and Calle San Martina, five more blocks offer window shopping heaven. An ideal stop for those looking for complementary WiFi access, or those just hankering for some great people watching, is lush Plaza 25 de Mayo, a perfect place to start or end a day in Rosario.
