The longest run measures an impressive eight miles on its own, thus making it the longest ski run in South America. Termas de Chillan is situated on the slopes of the Chillan Volcano at an elevation of approximately 5,250 feet above sea level. This location explains the thermal waters that the resort is largely known for. The closest city big city is Chillan, which is about 50 miles away, while the Chilean capital city of Santiago is approximately 300 miles away. When trying to get to the resort, many visitors fly from Santiago to Concepcion, and from there, they take a shuttle bus.
