found in cities like Miami,

York and Dallas,
among others, and among the main carriers are Continental,
American and Delta. Major airlines operating flights from
Canada do not offer direct flights, instead stopping first
in the United States. Most major flights to Peru from
the United Kingdom also generally include a link in the
United States. The peak season for Peru flights generally
falls during the months of May through September. This
is widely considered the best time to enjoy the Andes
Mountains, including visits to Machu
Picchu and the Sacred
Valley. As a result, you generally won’t have
the best luck finding cheap flights to Peru during this
time period. Once you arrive on one of the Peru flights,
the relatively affordable domestic flights in Peru offer
the most practical means of getting to your primary destinations.
Renting a car in Peru is generally not advised, bus travel
can be long, and trains are rare. Domestic flights in
Peru are pretty cheap when you consider the time and energy
that they will save you.
If you travel to Peru during the peak season, or if you end up buying your ticket at the last minute, you will generally end up paying extra for it. A good rule of thumb when purchasing airline tickets, is to do so as far in advance as possible. take a bus to the center of town from the airport.
