Mexico SIM Card

A Mexico SIM card is a good buy for travelers visiting from outside North America. Most US cell phones will work in Mexico, though it's always wise to check in advance.

For the card to work, you'll need a tri-band or quad-band unlocked GSM phone. If your phone is not unlocked, it's usually possible to have that done for a small fee, though if your phone is on a different frequency (CDMA), a rental cell phone is probably the easiest way to go.
