Electric Daisy Carnival

The Electric Daisy Carnival is produced by music fans for electronic and dance music fans. With more than 60 bands on five stages, each festival is packed with wall-to-wall music—and the concerts are just the beginning of the fun.

Ever since the Electric Daisy Carnival Los Angeles got started, this traveling festival has included even more than music. Carnival rides and games help make this festival once of the best places to spend your time. You'll also find large-scale art installations and other chances to express your creativity.

Electric Daisy Carnival History and Facts

The first festival happened in Los Angeles in 1997, building on previous electric music festivals. Ever since the beginning, the Electric Daisy Carnival has been produced by Insomniac, a company well versed in both event planning and promoting music. The Electric Daisy Festival 2017 will continue to be led by Insomniac.

The roots come straight out of the Southern California music scene, and the Electric Daisy Carnival Los Angeles dates were always some of the most popular. When the festival outgrew the Shrine Expo Hall, it played several other Southern California venues, including the LA Memorial Coliseum and Exposition Park. This traveling festival has also played the Queen Mary Events Park in Long Beach and the Lake Dolores Waterpark in Barstow, Arizona.

In 2010, the last Electric Daisy Carnival Los Angeles was held. The festival, still aware of its roots, had become the largest electronic music festival outside of Europe. More venues in even more places were added, allowing more people to join in the fun.

Tens of thousands of Electric Daisy Carnival tickets were snatched up for the shows that moved beyond the West Coast. The show at Denver drew huge crowds along with some of the hottest names in electronic music—Caspa, AC Slater, Fury, and Jonas Tempel.

The concerts also took place in Dallas at Festival Park in Puerto Rico. Las Vegas, a natural choice for the Electric Daisy Carnival first chosen to be a part of line-up in 2011, allowing even more Electric Daisy Carnival tickets to become available.
