Warped Tour 2023 is a touring music and extreme sports festival. Warped Tour 2023 was inaugurated in 1994, the brainchild of Kevin, who created the show's foundation from ideas developed while working on several skateboarding shows. The name of the tour is inspired by a one-time snowboarding, skateboarding, surfing, and music publication called Warp Magazine. By 1998, the Warped Tour lineup was debuted in Japan, Canada, Europe, Australia, and the United States. The next year the tour kicked off in Australia and New Zealand, headed to the United States, offering Warped Tour tickets for summer shows only, and then ended up with many dates across Europe. It has been sponsored by Vans skateboarding/BMX show company since 1995.

Since so many of the Warped Tour shows are held in large, remote fields, camping is often an option and when possible, camping might be organized by the tour with passes offered for a fee. Within larger cities where the tour is held in large-scale parking lots, ticket-holders will have to opt for a hotel or motel room.
