New York City New Years
New York City is the epicenter of the American New Years Eve celebrations, and if you have never been there to see the ball drop, then you have likely at least seen it on television a time or two. The New Years Eve New York City party isn't limited to just the Times Square New Years event, though. Throughout Manhattan and in all the five boroughs, the NYC New Years Clubs rock until the early morning, and at a list of various bars and restaurants, you can bet that they will be throwing their own 2016 New Years Eve New York bashes.

The NYC New Years clubs and bars parties are where you can likely find the most exclusive atmospheres where dancing and drinking will lead to plenty of lost inhibitions. You can find many of these parties online, and often when you get your tickets early, you can save some money on the overall price. At Club Rebel, one of the city's newest dance and music venues, you can party long until the night to the mix of Dance, Rock, Hip Hop and Top 40 and 80's hits that DJ Scott Melker will be spinning. The party at Rebel starts at 8 p.m. and ends at 4 a.m., and the premium bar will be serving up drinks from 9 p.m. until 3 a.m. At this hip spot in the neighborhood of Chelsea in Manhattan, you can party in one of 5 unique rooms and there will be a champagne toast as you watch the ball drop on one of the flat screens spread about the club. Your ticket to this jam will also include after hours entry to Capitale, another popular Manhattan hangout that will be throwing its own extravagant affair that is worthy of consideration. Also in Chelsea, the Marquee Club, which the New York Post called, "the hottest club in the known universe", will be throwing its own top New Years Eve New York City event. DJ E-Love and DJ Omi will be spinning the tunes here, and helping to toast to the new year will be VIP guests Christina Aguilera, Chloë Sevigny and Vanessa Minnillo. The Marquee after hours party goes from 3 a.m. until 6 a.m.
Eugene and Gypsy Tea are two NYC New Years clubs that will be offering a joint party that promises a "mix of elegance and decadence". This dual event will cater to the celebrity and fashion worlds and the bulk of the music will be provided by DJ Philip Anthony. At the Gypsy Tea club, there will be a main dance floor that will be lit up in grand style. Over at Eugene, you can hang out in one of the multiple party rooms. There will be a 6 hour open bar as part of the bash, and you can also watch the live broadcast of the Times Square New Years ball drop on one of an array of flat screens. This is where some of the most famous photos of New Years Eve come from. Another of the NYC New Years clubs that will be throwing a hip, all-out bash is Stereo. The party here will be hosted by Topher Grace, who besides having success on the big screen, was a big star on t.v.'s "That 70's Show". The Stereo party will feature special entertainment numbers and music by Tyson. You can fill your stomach between visits to the 6-hour premium bar at different gourmet buffet stations, unless you will be on an exclusive alcohol diet. At all of these featured NYC New Years clubs, there will be special VIP tables or rooms where you can live a little extra large if that is what you are after.
When the tickets sell out for the aforementioned events, there will be no need to worry. Plenty of other clubs and bars will be throwing their own New Years Eve New York City parties, and if you are in town visiting friends who live there, they will likely have inside knowledge for a list of possibilities. You can bet the whole city will be full of revelers and ruefully good times. If you are looking for an alternative to the Times Square New Years in New York City, there are plenty of side events that might interest you. There is the Brooklyn Bridge Walk into the New Year, which allows participants to see the fireworks going off from Central Park, Brooklyn, Staten Island, and New Jersey. It also affords great glimpses of the light show at the Empire State Building. Also in Brooklyn, you can get closer to the fireworks as you countdown the final moments at Grand Army Plaza. If a nice dinner and a midnight champagne toast suits your taste, then there will be plenty of New York City restaurants open that will be serving multi-course meals and champagne toasts that are bound to satisfy. Also, the Big Apple has a number of New Years cruises to choose from where you can party into the night. The parties will be all over, and so your options will run the gamut of pretty much every conceivable type of affair. Just remember to dress warm. It's usually one of the colder nights of the year. Other than that, have a great time.
