Luxury Summer Vacations

Luxury summer vacations ensure that you’ll have access to the highest quality accommodations and amenities on your trip, as well as the opportunity to see some of the most beautiful parts of the world. While it’s possible to take a cruise or stay in a hotel, if you have a few extra days to spare, then luxury summer vacation rentals are a great option if you want to feel at home in a new place and stay in a beautiful apartment, house, or villa. Luxury summer resort getaways are also an amazing option for relaxation, and though these are generally found in beach vacation destinations, there are also options for resorts in a few other spots as well.

If you’re looking for a classic choice for luxury summer vacations, then a trip to the Caribbean might be the best option. There are beautiful accommodations throughout the islands, many of which offer all inclusive vacations, and the many different islands each have their own cultures. It’s possible to find luxury summer resort getaways in many places, but if you want the ultimate in luxury, look at villa rentals on the British Virgin Islands or privately owned islands such as Mustique. It’s also possible to find luxury cruise vacations that can take you to several different Caribbean islands, giving you the chance to see many different destinations in the region.

Many travelers are looking to spend time at the beach, and there are several options farther away than the Caribbean which can offer the ultimate in idyllic scenery and secluded beaches; this type of trip is very popular for honeymoons. The South Pacific countries of Fiji and Tahiti are very popular for luxury beach trips, and there are also several island chains near Africa that have high-class resorts. Seychelles and Mauritius, which are both relatively near Madagascar, and Maldives, located in the Indian Ocean, are becoming more popular destinations because of their stunning beaches, snorkeling, and resorts, as well as the great amount of privacy.

Europe is always a popular spot for trips, and the Mediterranean is particularly suited to luxury summer vacations. The Amalfi Coast of Italy, the Isle of Capri, and the French Riviera are among the quintessential destinations for luxury travelers, as they can promise beautiful beaches, hotels, and villa rentals, with just the right amount of European sophistication. They’re also popular for travelers who want to combine a beach trip with a visit to historic cities such as Paris, Venice, and Florence.

While many travelers’ first thoughts for luxury summer resort getaways go halfway around the world, North America has its share of reasons to stay local. The resort cities in Mexico, such as Cabo San Lucas, Cancun, and Puerto Vallarta, promise beautiful accommodations and beaches, and the reasonable exchange rate means that it’s also a popular spot if you need to stretch your budget to get the type of luxury vacation you’re dreaming of. Belize and Costa Rica, both in Central America, are also worth investigating if you want to plan a luxury trip for less.

In the United States, Hawaii is often the most popular luxury vacation spot. There are beautiful resorts and golf courses on the Big Island, Oahu, Maui, and Kauai, and if you want seclusion to rival what you might find in the South Pacific islands, you can visit Lanai. There are two Four Seasons resorts here, complete with amazing golf courses and beaches, but it’s much less crowded than other Hawaiian islands.
