Paradise Lodge is located right in the middle of Mt Rainier National Park, offering incredible views in all directions and a great place to stay. This historic inn, built in 1916, offers visitors beautiful vistas of the surrounding blooming meadows as well as hiking trails to explore this part of the Cascades. Whether you want to hike, fish, mountain climb, or bird watch, this hotel offers the perfect home base.

The Paradise Mt Rainier has 121 guest rooms, its own dining room, a café, and a small store selling Native American crafts. This inn was designed to be free of modern distractions, and as a guest you might just find that the stresses of modern life disappear when you look out the window at the stunning national park. The Paradise Inn is located in Ashton Washington, within the park boundaries.

The best way to reach the Paradise Lodge is by rental car. There is no public transportation within the park, so most visitors arrive by rental car. Seattle is approximately 85 miles away, and rental cars are available at the airport here. Some guests also arrive from Portland, approximately 135 miles away from the national park.

As a guest of Paradise Mt Rainier, you will have access to all the pleasures of the season. From May to October all of the roads in the park are open and you will have access to scenic drives, hiking trails, fishing, and mountain climbing. In the winter, popular activities include guided snow walks, snowboarding, and cross-country skiing. There is so much to see and enjoy in the park, you will want to stay longer than a day.
